I am a Global Nomad and an economist by training. I am great with cultural integration which spawns from my experiences in five different countries since childhood. It helps me to be open minded and practical when I meet new people. I currently live in Hong Kong with my family and conduct writers workshops on zoom for a number of Literary Festivals in India .
I've always had a love for writing...
I particularly like writing rhyming poetry and narrative non fiction. My style is a little bit of emotion and description with a dash of humor in it. My book of poems titled Quintessential Me was published in June 2018. I am currently working on a non fiction book on Mumbai and a second poetry book.
I have also published poetry in a number of magazines like Ariana, ASBMusings, OOPs website, Proverse Poetry Anthology, Beyond Boundaries etc.
I founded and ran the Parents Writers Club at the American School of Bombay, India between 2016-2018 and during that time collaborated with Heeru Bhojwani, the American School of Bombay, head librarian, for the Jarul Book Awards and three school anthologies, Memories from the Road, Letters from the Road and Reflections from the Road.
I am an advisor on the committees of the Liferarian Association and the Read Bloom Books. I have also conducted a number of writing workshops for them on Zoom and have hosted the online Literacy Festivals conducted by them.
I love the discovery of the simplest of things during my travels, this fuels a lot of my writing.
