Hear me.. sea me...

Updated: May 12, 2019

Beautiful lie the sands on the beach,

But what to us does it really teach?

To stay in a place and not vividly sway...

And let go bit by bit of its precious clay!

Its touched constantly by the fickle waters,

Submerged and leached by the needy corners,

Forming a despicable shape at the bay

As the cheeky water has its way!

Sand embodies a time sacrificial,

As emotions lie in the debris external...

Does it stay in eternal detachment,

Or willingly accept in contentment!

Truth is- everyone knows,

It continues, the sadness shows,

For if there were tears that have been cried

its mixed in the waves that bring the tide!
